This page explains what data Thinkepia collects, how it's stored, and who else sees it. We keep this to what's actually needed to run accounts, publish content, and process purchases.
1. What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and anything else you choose to add to your profile. When you buy a product, purchase records (what you bought and when) are linked to your account so your downloads and purchase history are available any time. We don't collect payment card details ourselves — see the Whop section below.
2. Accounts & data storage (Supabase)
Thinkepia uses Supabase to handle accounts, authentication, and to store the data described above — your profile, saved articles, and purchase records. Supabase is a third-party backend provider; your account data is stored in a Supabase-managed database on our behalf, and access is protected by row-level security tied to your logged-in session, meaning only you (and Thinkepia, for support purposes) can normally see your own records.
If you sign in via a supported method, that flow is also handled through Supabase's authentication service. We don't sell or share this data with advertisers.
3. Payments & purchases (Whop)
Product checkout is handled entirely through Whop. When you buy something, Whop processes your payment and shares back with us only what's needed to confirm the purchase and grant you access — we don't see or store your full card number at any point. Whop has its own privacy policy governing the payment data it collects directly.
4. Cookies & local storage
We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences like light/dark mode. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
5. What we don't do
We don't sell your data, and we don't run third-party ad-tracking scripts on the Site. Data is used to run your account, deliver purchases, and — if you're subscribed — send our newsletter.
6. Your data, your control
You can update your profile any time from Settings. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, contact us and we'll handle it directly with our Supabase database.
7. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes affecting how your data is used will be communicated by email where possible.
